Tropical Pitcher Plants are not difficult at all to take care of, if planted correctly. I have mine set up in long fiber sphagnum moss, with a wicking setup. I water them with distilled water and have them at a west-facing window which receives some direct sunlight during the day. They're happy plants that way. The Nepenthes St. Gaya is a hybrid tropical pitcher plant that is easily found in cultivation. It was formed by cross breeding a Nepenthes maxima, with a Nepenthes ventricosa, then taking that hybrid plant and cross breeding it with the endangered Nepenthes khasiana. The Nepenthes khasiana hails from India. The Nepenthes Ventrata is a hybrid tropical pitcher plant this is also easily found in cultivation. It was formed by cross breeding a Nepenthes alata with a Nepenthes ventricosa. Be sure to subscribe to stay up to date on my latest videos. Thanks for watching and Happy Planting.
