I haven't done a Cure song in awhile, and this was always a fun one to play live (well, they ALL are, but still :-). I remember being really happy when I actually made sounds that sounded like the weird detuned brass and the eerie vibrato whistle -- they're pretty unique sounds that they used and I wasn't sure if I'd be able to get close or not using my Triton. Before today I last played this song I think about 10 years ago, in my Cure tribute band's final show, Fascination Street. It was fun to load the floppy up and hear the sounds again. If you're playing along at home, you'll notice I had to change the tuning of the pad sound at the bottom of the keyboard; I think it's 4 half steps up. The parts wouldn't all fit on the keyboard otherwise. Sometimes I wish I got the 76 key version, but I usually find a way to make the 61 work :-). Thanks for watching, and keep playing!
